AGRU PVDF in acid tank construction

AGRU PVDF in acid tank construction

AGRU PVDF im Säurebehälterbau

The trend towards lightweight construction is taking every industrial sector by storm. The mechanical properties, low mass, and
comparatively low manufacturing costs offer great advantages over materials such as stainless steel. To ensure the
chemical resistance of these constructions, they are lined with fluoropolymers, such as AGRU PVDF sheets.

PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) is a fluoropolymer with excellent resistance to a variety of highly aggressive chemical
media. Plasticon China Co., Ltd., have benefited from the advantages of this polymer by using PVDF as a lining for
a hydrochloric acid tank, which, in turn, was constructed using the dual laminate process.
